Why I write about North Wales

When I moved to North Wales in 2018 I quickly discovered that some of the best local businesses — plumbers, builders, electricians, independent shops, and trades across Holyhead, Bangor, Caernarfon, and beyond — were almost impossible to find online. Not because they weren't good, but because skilled tradespeople and sole traders are busy doing their job, not building websites or posting on social media.

These are the businesses I write about.

Every business featured here is genuinely local. I live here, I know the area, and I write about it because I believe North Wales — and the people who work in it — deserve better online representation.
